Community is essential to our lives as Brothers. It is a place of friendship and shared life, where our qualities and gifts can flourish. Friends and colleagues offer us the companionship, support and encouragement we need each day, particularly in facing some of the challenges that our ministry brings.
We pray together, share meals together, and spend time relaxing with each other. With a strong sense of family spirit that has come down to us from Marcellin and his early Brothers, we enjoy cooking and sharing hospitality with others, particularly our families, friends, and the young people who share our spirituality.
“Marcellin shows us how we are to form and live in communities of mission. In the very name he chose, Little Brothers of Mary*, Marcellin summarises the fundamental identity of his community: the gospel virtue of simplicity, the call to fraternity, and the contemplation of the person of Mary.”
